Like so many in our community, RECLAIM is saddened to learn of the closure of Rainbow Health, a cornerstone resource in our region for LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS health care. As part of our local constellation of health services, we already feel their absence.  Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the closure of RH.

RECLAIM provides mental health care to our community with a trained professional team of therapists. Clients ages 12-25 who received mental health services at RH can inquire about our services at www.reclaim.care/therapy

As an organization, here is how we are responding to the closure of RH:

• RECLAIM is opening a services waitlist to accommodate and triage an anticipated influx of requests for services.
• We are shoring up contacts with other clinics to provide accurate referrals to clinicians with current openings.
• We are exploring partnerships with funders to support hiring additional therapists to meet increased demand.
• We remain in contact with community partners, including LGBTQ+ health service organizations, to coordinate and respond to this changing landscape of LGBTQ+ health care.

Finally, while Rainbow Health may no longer be here, their dedicated staff and clients are still our friends and neighbors! Please show them much deserved love and support as they move into a new chapter.
